Borago in Santa Rosa Beach

Excellent italian food. Server was Great. Nice atmosphere. Every dish our group ordered was phenomenal. Including the desserts. Highly recommend for a special evening out.

We return each year on our annual family beach trip to enjoy some of the best food offered in this region. We have occasionally worked in two dinner experiences in the same week! Our service is always great!

One of my MOST FAVORITE restaurants on 30A. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly, providing stellar service. You can't go on wrong with anything you order here.

Best italian experience in the area. The bread and dip was amazing, The Chicken Linguini was to superb, and the Chocolate Creme Brulee took home the gold. They nailed every part of the meal!

We were ignored for the first 15 minutes and it was absolutely freezing inside.

Great place to eat. We sat on patio since it was a beautiful evening. It was quiet and relaxing. The wait staff was very attentive and answered questions and made suggestions. The food was excellent, we all ordered something different and everyone was very pleased. The portions are large enough we have leftovers for another meal. Would highly recommend this place.

Amazing food some of the best Italian.

So good! Solid Italian, good service, in an energetic if a little loud dining room. Delicate calamari, flavorful arugula salad, delicious primi and secondi options, followed by outstanding tiramisu and decadent dark chocolate creme brulee. Will definitely be back.

I would have given this restaurant 5 stars except that it is incredibly noisy in the dining room. The acoustics are very bad. It's hard to relax and enjoy dining with friends when you can't hear the conversation. The service was great and the food was delicious.

We love Borago’s. I always order the chicken piccata and a Caesar salad. No need for a knife. It’s always the same high quality. Best to sit at bar for dinner because the dining room can get loud sometimes. Good bourbon selection too. One of the finest on 30A

Honestly this is our favorite italian restraunt. The Chefs are fabulous and our favorite waiter is Greg. Everytime we come to eat it is like coming home to family. Even if it has been six months between visits they all remember us and treat us wonderfully.

This is HANDS DOWN my F-A-V-O-R-I-T-E place at the beach! The scallops are out of this world! Get a double order and make it your dinner entree. ALWAYS get the chocolate creme brûlée. You will not be disappointed!

We had the best dinner at Borago! Our server Cameron was top tier. We had a little bit of everything -- the calamari, tomato bisque, mixed greens salad, and angel hair and linguine pasta (both with shrimp). We had the tiramisu to top it all off. Our experience could not have been brought together more perfectly without our excellent server. Thanks Borago for a great date night!

Absolutely amazing!! Beautiful atmosphere and we loved the open kitchen concept. Started with the Fried Calamari which was super crispy. We then ordered the Shrimp over Angel Hair with Prosciutto and the Seared Salmon with Potatoes and Broccolinni. Each entree was delicious and bursting with flavors. They came to the table quick, hot and fresh. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed EVERYTHING and we will be back soon to try another amazing dish.

Finally tried Borago restaurant and was surprised by how great it was. I had the 3 meat bolognese with tortellini. Just delicious. Very friendly staff also.

A new favorite! The service was friendly and prompt at both the door and the table. The atmosphere was super clean, and I loved the Sinatra & friends tunes. I had the salmon with crispy potatoes and broccolini which was perfectly seasoned and delicious. I loved the buerre blanc pesto sauce - it was light and just the right amount of flavor while not at all greasy. Parking was easy and I love the open kitchen layout! All around great experience!

We went to the beach bar under the restaurant. Great atmosphere and view. Friendly staff. Service was a little slow but we weren't in a hurry. Food was excellent, not huge portions but enough. Will definitely be back!

Borago always offers a wonderful experience. With some of the best customer service on the coast, their attention to detail begins as soon as you enter the door. Their cocktails and entrees are amazing!

Excellent Italian spot. Very nice but not stuffy. Nice views of the bay. We ordered an appetizer that was basically a fried risotto ball with pesto sauce and it was very good. We also got the tortellini with Bolognese sauce and it too was excellent. We will definitely come come back!

Same menu forever. Consistent and Solid. If you know what you like there, it will always satisfy.

Great meal. Had the meatballs to start and then the arugula salad flowed by chicken fettuccine. My son had the penne and sausage. Everything was great. Wine prices were some of the best in town, which says a lot as so much is so overpriced here. We'll be back, definitely a great meal.

Sat at the bar on 11/05/18 and had a wonderful arugula salad, meatball app and grouper with artichokes and olives. Carter was our server/bartender and as pleasant as can be. We had so much fun with all of the other patrons too. So glad Borago is back to their original location. Love it!

Awesome hidden gem in Santa Rosa. The atmosphere is as awesome as the food. My compliments to the chef as well as the groundskeeper. Thanks for the mouthwatering food.

I am giving them four stars because of price. It was overpriced. The chicken linguine was decent. We enjoyed the mushroom ravioli, arugula salad and the shrimp with pasta. The eggplant lasagna was different, with a lot of vegetables—it wasn’t my favorite eggplant. The tiramisu was to die for. Overall, good experience and good food, but overpriced.

After a gracious reservation process, we came here on a friday night for my daughter's birthday and were able to be seated immediately. Our server, Tom, was willing to take our entire order at once, and course it out with proper timing. We had the oyster special, seared tuna, and mushroom ravioli for appetizers and all were very good. Salad course and entrees were delicious, and both the creme brulee and tiramisu were a great finish to the meal (a birthday candle was even provided!). Overall, the service and food were above average and we will be returning. Thank you for making our special occasion memorable.
